I live in the NYC area. Today UBER announced the company will being laying off all of its drivers. Yellow cabs are parked all over the city. The streets are empty making the city look like a ghost town. Does your city look like this? This is some spooky shit. When will it all end?

I've seen videos of drone footage of major cities and it's surreal. Almost looks fake.

My city is basically back to normal. Our major metro is seeing the most infections but mostly from homeless from what a member of our county supervisors told me.

We've been in lockdown since March and we've slayed the curve but we're lucky since our population density is nowhere near NYC's. Our percentage hit for infection was 0.10% and almost all cases have recovered.

Damn! Seattle looks *relatively* empty, but otherwise fairly normal - still people walking around, plenty of cars, I haven't seen a major increase in
trash or graffiti or anything like that.

I have no idea what my city (Stockholm, Sweden) looks like now. I haven't left the small village I live in for three months except for the occational drive to get food or drive my kids to/from school.

I think this whole thing will be around for a while. I'm getting sort of tired of working from home, specially since I started a new job two weeks ago and am yet to meet anyone on the team in person except my boss.

I feel sorry for you living in New York City. I believe I only know of one person who lives in NYC. One of the members of the West Memphis 3. Damien Echols. Good person.

Oh I miss the late 80s/early 90s even more...............................

WHen it first started, the roads were pretty empty, over the last few weeks it's like things have returned to normal. I live in a suburb about 20 miles north of downtown Dallas, so I don't know what it was like in the city
    itself.
