    Hello Apam,

We seem to have short subject lines when posting online on the BBS. Is it possible at some point that we can enter longer subject lines?

It's possible I suppose. How long do you want it?

I also got asked today to add deleting support, that seems to have
opened up a can of worms in the message base stuff.

I would say just take what the user gives you. There may be a standard
with regard to the subject line but I don't recall. If so we'll want to
    stick with that.

If you ever see a can of worms by all means.. step back a bit.

IIRC, JAM allows 100 chars. Fido's upper limit is 72, it's 80 chars minus "Subject " (8 chars).
