    My understading is/was: for certain reason there was some split between zones (looks like zone 1 was separated from the rest). By coincidence zone 1 had moderator and the rest did not need it. Since a while zones were completed.

    That need of moderator is visible even just because of never ending discussion if to have one or not.

    To have all zones in echo is advantage.

    To me - is the question who should be the moderator. If actual candidate is the best one, why not.

    The Zone Wars are a thing of the past, and it should remain that way. Unfortunately, too many people are trying to keep it going.

    To me - is the question who should be the moderator. If actual candidate is the best one, why not.

    Whoever is willing to put in the time, and deal with the trolls, that is the moderator. It is a volunteer position, and anyone can volunteer.

    I had a chat with him and I must admit that one point I was wrong. New moderator is not the result of zone "merging" (as I can clearly see zone 1 since my archive starts, like year 2018 and on)

    Usualy, group of people do not need "moderator" until all of them agree on that. If one starts to moderate - the challenge starts.
