• 3.19b questions after upgrade

From xbit@1:103/705 to All on Fri Jan 6 04:56:40 2023
I was a little late to the party but i just updated. It went very well but I have two questions of things I've noticed after the update.

    1) when logging in my acct I see the following sync note: You have sent 1 unreceived User to User File Transfer. When I go to the file menu and check my user to user it states I don't have any waiting.

This note showed up after update. Anyway to view the file and/or remove the notice?

    2) my mail server logs keep stating the following over and over all day every day: 0000 SEND Message #8093 from 'bbs_user' #bbs_user_# to 'xbit.ops' <[email protected]> - in transit.

I think this was happening before the update but I can't remember for sure :/ anyway to view and/or kill the message in question?

    Thanks all,

    xbit

I think that's correct because you *sent* a user-to-user file. Or at least, the BBS thinks you did, and it hasn't been downloaded by the recipient (not you) yet.

This note showed up after update. Anyway to view the file and/or remove the notice?

I assum you have a "user" file directory. You should be able to list and remove files from it.

    2) my mail server logs keep stating the following over and over all day every day: 0000 SEND Message #8093 from 'bbs_user' #bbs_user_# to 'xbit.ops' <[email protected]> - in transit.

Run 'jsexec notransit.js' to cure that.

    Solved.

Worked like a champ: Removed 1 in-transit flags

    Thanks DM.

So you *had* sent a user-to-user file or not?

Yes, it was a test to myself I sent a long time ago. Not sure why that
message just showed up after upgrade.
