Biden/Harris sure have broken a lot of records..

Now I'm going to sound like a broken record:

Pray for Trump's victory every day between now and Election Day!

If you're not religious, and praying isn't something that you normally do, just try it for this purpose and your prayer can be this simple, just say this:

"God and Jesus, please make sure Trump wins this year's election. Amen."

Just say that every day at bedtime between now and election day.

Also, try to give family/friends a ride to the polls. Call them and tell them that you're very worried about what 4 more years of Democrat control will do, and that you will sleep better if you know that they voted for Trump.

Do everything we can guys! We need this so bad!!!

What you really should pray for is that the US people do not make the same mistake that the German people did in 1933.

    Hello Aaron,

Biden/Harris sure have broken a lot of records..

Higher and higher. But I don't want to brag.

Now I'm going to sound like a broken record:

Wages outpacing inflation is always a good thing.
And that is what we are having today under the Biden
administration. We can continue by electing Kamala
Harris for President, thus making workers very happy.

Pray for Trump's victory every day between now and Election Day!

We saw what he did last time. And that was a total disaster.
So why would anybody in his/her right mind want to elect him
    again?

If you're not religious, and praying isn't something that you normally do, just try it for this purpose and your prayer can be this simple, just say this:

One does not have to say anything to understand your orange god
was a flop as president. Nobody should want a return to that.

"God and Jesus, please make sure Trump wins this year's election. Amen."

Just say that every day at bedtime between now and election day.

Indiana Jones also said a prayer along those same lines.
Fortunately for him, a little kid saved his sorry butt, and
we all know what happened next.

Also, try to give family/friends a ride to the polls. Call them and tell them that you're very worried about what 4 more years of Democrat control will do, and that you will sleep better if you know that they voted for Trump.

There is only one problem. Even with free photo ID being available
in most states, it costs real money for those who are homeless, and
elderly, and disabled, and otherwise penniless, to be able to obtain
a photo ID (which is needed for voting purposes). So even if I could
get them to the polls, it would do them no good. As such, all those
would-be Trump voters have to stay home.

Do everything we can guys! We need this so bad!!!

All those would-be Trump voters need a cerfified birth certificate
in order to get a free photo ID. Thank you for your willingness to pay
    the costs!

    For Life,
    Lee

The covid disaster? It was actually Democrats fault.

One does not have to say anything to understand your orange god
was a flop as president. Nobody should want a return to that.

We also need to pray that Trump will make the Superbowl halftime game an exciting one.

Indiana Jones also said a prayer along those same lines.

Harrison Ford made a pact with the devil so it doesn't count.

We've always welcomed immigrants with open arms. After all, getting grown-up fully educated people for free (an MD costs society EUR300-400k, for instance -- "normal" educations in the range of EUR50-100k) who can start working and paying taxes from day one if we allow them.

It's an offer we simply cannot refuse without being total xenophobic idiots like in the MAGA world and in Germany a century ago.

rejections. After all, those people actually DID "Make America Great,"
but you refuse to understand it.

    Illegal immigrants made America great?

    Yep.

Slaves from Africa were brought here against their will.
This was legal for quite a while, until shortly after the
Civil War when the US Constitution was finally amended to
end the sordid practice. But remember, black folks were
not even regarded as people in those times, so it didn't
    really matter.

Your statement quoted above shows your own ignorance.
What made America great was, in fact, illegal immigrants.
Not slaves, or black folks, but honest to goodness folks
who got here any which way they could, whether by hook
    or by crook.

We called those people "indentured servants" - mostly
folks from Europe - who hopped on board a ship and made
their way here. Some of them snuck across the border
from Canada, depending on where the ship arrived.

How did these people pay the fare to get onto the ships?
They had an employer. Sign a contract, work for a few years,
then receive their just reward (new life in America).

Worked out great for the longest time. Until FDR came
around and ended the practice. Now everybody has to play
by the same rules. 'Tis a shame. Now folks have to run
and hide rather than be granted an amnesty every now and
    then.

    For Life,

That might have been true in the past. However, if you search DuckDuckGo
    using the following:

    cartels drugs indian reservations

You will get a lot of links that show that tribal leaders now have a very
real concern about migrants from south of the US border.

Here is a brief paragraph from one of the links, courtesy NewsNation via
    MSN:

"Tribal leaders in Montana issued an urgent plea to Congress, saying they are overwhelmed and outmatched as Mexican drug cartels exploit jurisdictional loopholes to embed themselves on Native American reservations with devastating effects."

The drug cartel people are getting onto reservations, either by passing themselves off as Native Americans or by marrying in, and then trafficing
    drugs into the reservation.

That's where I was headed. Again, semi-tongue-in-cheek, but based on my limited understanding of how things worked in pre-colonialist North America.

I gather that there were regional/territorial disputes, but not necessarily over the physical land -- more along the lines of, "Hey, buddy... You're too close to my people. Time to go back over there."

What a complicated worm of cans, though. I would NOT like to be part of the semi-protectorate slash pseudo-recognized city-nation-state that we've created for those folks, and then have to deal with that sort of crap.

I also wonder, though... If you don't have a concept of land as a commod and you don't entertain the idea of land boundaries until the Europeans arrived, then maybe it's not as valid beyond the surface.

That might have been true in the past.

That is my understanding, too, although part of that "understanding"
    probably comes from Hollywood. :0

You will get a lot of links that show that tribal leaders now have a very real concern about migrants from south of the US border.

That's something I hadn't seen anything about. Might have to add a
little of that topic to my late night reading.

Indeed. I am not sure if it was the same NewNation article I quoted or another, but a tribal leader was concerned because their reservation is geographically huge but they only have X number of tribal police... a
number that was likely sufficient for their population until they had to
    start dealing with this issue.

My thinking is if our larger nation did a better job of policing the
border, their smaller nations wouldn't be having nearly the issue they are having now.

You really haven't kept up with what's happened recently? Everything was actual quotes from the MAGA cult leader and Hitler wannabe.

Everything after Gutenberg has been pretty hard to read, what with all the character substitutions and all.

Everything was actual quotes from the MAGA cult leader and

[For the passersby: I totally realize I'm rolling out the red carpet. Have fun.]

It's interesting, really. I don't think he shares a lot of characteristics with Hitler. The motivations are entirely different. Trump's "expansionism" is based on immediate, personal financial gain -- that's where his version of respect comes from; money equals power. There's very little that indicates he cares about his nationality other than the fact that it's a tool for his own gain. Once he's gone, he doesn't care about what comes next for the American state.

Hitler was much more interested in nationalism and his legacy as the catalyst for German expansionism, in that it was a state that he constructed. He absolutely wanted Germany to exist and continue to succeed beyond his lifetime, and he wanted to be revered for his role in making that happen.

Also... (shhhhh) ... There's also a clear disparity in intellect.

If he had used red rather than orange spray tan, he would have made more sense three centuries ago.

My step-daughter put it best: when it comes to setting the bar, he's the limbo champion.
