    Thank you. You could say that the over-quoting makes up for the lack of REPLYID and consequently for the lack of threading on the FTN side.

    New people only need a Telegram account, look up a group and join.

    And in the case of a private group (which this is on the Telegram side)
    any member already there can add the new guy.

    I suppose this is a more reliable way of spreading Fido echoconferences in Telegram.
